What are your plans for next year?
I plan to work as a correctional officer in a prison
What is your favorite High School Memory?
My favorite high school memory is probably doing defensive tactics with my criminal justice classmates at MACTEC. or accidentally breaking the window on the school bus when i was horseplaying with my best friend. she's a troublemaker.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
If I where to pick any class besides my class at MACTEC, I would have to say its concepts of chemistry with Mrs. Stevenson
Who do you admire the most and why?
My aunt. She's made it far with her occupation and continues with it while raising and homeschooling two wonderful kids. she's also very religious and talks highly of the lord and I find that awesome. she is probably the kindest person I know and also wonderful listener and gives great advice. I wish more people where like my aunt.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
Ms. Baker, she always helped when i needed something and she's a really good listener when you need someone to talk to. she also helped me get my work when i was struggling a lot of the time

Seeing all of my friends. South Shelby is my home away from home. All of the teachers are great

Great work by the 2025 South Shelby Ladybird softball team for qualifying as a team for Academic All - State. The team had to have a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or better during the fall semester.
Also, congratulations to the individual girls who qualified for Academic All State with a GPA of 3.7 or above during the fall semester.

LA II worked on student-led chapters of To Kill a Mockingbird this week.
Baseball will not have practice Monday (3/2). First day of practice will be on Tuesday (3/3) after school.

Congratulations to Allison Broughton and Sophia Coon who were recently selected to perform with the Northeast MO Junior High All-District Honor Band! The all day rehearsal and evening performance was held on February 21 at Macon High School.
Lots of fun things happening this winter in elementary music! 3rd & 4th grade have had rhythm snowball fights, 1st grade used boomwhackers to show melodic direction, and PreK "built" a snowman to the song, "I Made a Snowman."
