Two South Shelby CTA members were recognized at the Northeast Region MSTA awards banquet on Thursday, April 30. Monica Mitchell is retiring with 29 years of service. Jen Gill was honored with a $1,000 technology grant.
It's getting close!! The South Shelby Sophomore class is hosting a parent/child dance this Sunday after the High School Prom. All are welcome! Bring your littles (or even your not-so-little-anymores). Snacks, drinks, activities, and good times provided.

Last night we were able to send three Anatomy students to Kirksville Medical Center to a Surgical Career Exploration and see surgical robots. A big thank you to NEMOAHEC for the opportunity!

South Shelby Golf finished in second place at the Kirksville golf invitational today shooting a 331! Waylen Owens was runner up medalist with a 78!
2026/27 High School Cheerleading Tryout Information
The South Shelby at Macon Baseball game has been rescheduled for May 12th, starting at 5 pm (varsity only). The home baseball game, originally scheduled vs Northwestern Mendon, has been canceled to get in a conference game.

The SSMS Track teams will NOT be attending the meet at Monroe City today! Meets this week are: 4/29 @ Palmyra and 4/30 @ Marceline.
