Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw means "balance feels best." Students are working to have a balance between work and play. (That's a great reminder for us as adults too, huh?!) These second graders had a challenge to balance as many cubes as they could. It's trickier than it looks!

Musher banquet 2023 is in the books. These kiddos kept right on following their musher even though it was spring break which earned them BONUS points! They journaled, wrote poems, read up-to-date articles from the trail, watched Iditarod livestream, and any other creative way of demonstrating their understanding of the Last Great Race On Earth. Many of these kiddos tracked their mushers on their GPS and watched them live as they crossed the finish line in Nome. They may not love it like Grandma, but they do have an appreciation of the sport and a better understanding of the Alaskan culture. They did this all on their own. And their reward....Musher Banquet!
