Tomorrow (Friday) during the 5th general session, starting at 2pm, Miranda Patterson will be on stage during the Proficiency Awards recognition portion. She is 1 of 4 National finalists in the Service Learning category for her Passion for Pigs Ham Hike SAE project. During this time we will learn where she places in the final 4! I will try to post the link to the live stream when the session begins tomorrow so anyone can tune in to watch.
59 South Shelby FFA members took off yesterday at 6am for Indianapolis to the National FFA Convention!! Last night we attended the Lauren Alaina and Jimmie Allen concert, and this morning we attended the opening general session, and are spending time at the mall and career show. Awesome group!!! Stay tuned for more updates!

4th & 5th Grade became Foley artists for a project earlier this month in music. They created their own sound effects to go with a spooky Mickey Mouse cartoon!
