Congrats to the South Shelby Students that were selected for Class 3 District 6 All-District Basketball Teams!

Early Dismissal-Shelby County R-IV Schools will be dismissing classes 1:00 pm on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022 to allow staff and students to attend the MSHSAA Class 3 Sectional Basketball Tournament game at Francis Howell Central HS in St. Charles, MO. The South Shelby Ladybirds play Elsberry at 6:00 pm. The district will provide pep buses for MS and HS students interested in attending. All game tickets must be purchased online prior to the game and boarding the bus at: https://www.mshsaa.org/CMSPages/Tickets.aspx

Baseball practice will be in the morning from 6:30-8 am.
The South Shelby Ladybirds will play at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, March 2nd at Francis Howell Central High School. YOU MUST purchase the tickets online on the MSHSAA Website. You will select Basketball, Class 3, then select Class 3 Sectional 3. Tickets are $7.00 a piece

Track athletes- Track practice for this coming week 7-8 am Mon-Wed, Thur- Fri TBD. If you are a boys basketball player that dressed in districts, your first required day will be Thursday. Girls basketball- TBD.
Attention Middle School Students and Parents: Track practice starts Monday, February 28th. Athletes will need to bring shorts, sweats, and tennis shoes. Practice will end at 5:00! Any other questions please contact Coach Moore or Coach O’Neal.

Cardinals end the season tonight with a 71-52 loss to Monroe City. Way to play hard Cardinals.
Tonight's district basketball games at Monroe City will be played as scheduled. South Shelby boys will play Monroe City at 6. The South Shelby girls will take on Palmyra at 1:00 tomorrow afternoon
With the cancellation of school today the Elementary PTO Dodgeball event will also be cancelled Friday, February 25th.
School Cancellation-Shelby County R-IV Schools will be closed on Friday, February 25th due to inclement weather and poor road conditions. Classes at South Shelby Schools as well as Vo-Tech are cancelled. Friday will not be an AMI day.
