What are your plans for next year?
Hopefully go to MACC online or in person. Preferably in person.
What School Activities are you involved in?
Archery is my main activity, it's quite enjoyable. I am also involved in NHS.
What is your favorite High School Memory?
I have too many to count. I would say my favorite memories are the ones where I developed friendships with my current friends. They helped me grow as a person and support my different adventures in life. I couldn't be more happy with the people I surround myself with.
What class in High School do you/did you enjoy the most?
There are so many classes I could list off. I enjoyed all of my art classes mainly. Especially this year's ceramics class I have in eighth hour. I also enjoyed having Mr Wilts class in my sophomore year.
Who do you admire the most and why?
I admire my mom. She is a tough woman who stick up for herself. She doesn't let people walk all over her, which is important as a business owner. Being a business owner and finding time to be a part of the community is pretty impressive in my book.
What teacher had the biggest influence on you and why?
There are a handful of teachers that I feel helped me grow as an individual. Mr & Mrs Hickman, Miss Hutcherson, and Mrs Stevenson. They helped me come out of my shell over the years. If I had a troubled day or needed help they would talk with me. Mrs Hickman helped talk with me about college and made me feel more secure with my decisions.
What is the one thing you will miss most about South Shelby?
I will miss being able to see my friends every day in the same location. The schedule and routine will also be missed. Another thing would most definitely be not having art twice a day. I love art class with all my heart.
