The South Shelby Environmental Club got the opportunity to go to Hannibal's Sodalis Park for a night bat watching hike out on by the Hannibal parks department. We got to observe the endangered Indiana bat as they became active in the evening.

South Shelby HS Boys Cross Country Team placed first at the Highland Cougar Charge in Canton. Cooper 3rd, Beau 8th, Schyler 11th, Max 14th, Alex 18th, and Colt 27th.
South Shelby HS girls cross country runners did very well at the Highland Cougar Charge in Canton. Sam won with a time of 21:02. Diamond placed 12th and Lauren got 21st! We run again Saturday at Flower City Park in Palmyra.

South Shelby HS and MS XC teams got together for a pre-meet pasta party Monday evening after practice! We compete at the Cougar Charge held at the River Valley Golf Course in Canton MO Tuesday afternoon. Thank you to the parents for putting together an excellent meal!
