School Supply Lists and Information - The start of school is just around the corner. For the past few years Shelby County R-IV has been able to furnish many personal student school supplies through the federal dollars provided to districts during the pandemic. These funds are no longer available for the district to utilize. We have posted our school supply lists to our website or you can check out teacherlists.com or walmart.com for online shopping. Use the School's Zip Code 63468 when searching for your school. There will also be a back to school supply handout July 26th from 9:00 am -12:00 pm at the Shelbyville CTA Teen Center (105 E Main St. Shelbyville MO) Have a great rest of your summer.

MACC will be hosting a ZOOM MACC Dual Credit Informational Meeting for “All Things DC.” If you are planning on taking dual credit classes this coming school year, MACC is offering this opportunity to learn more about the process.

SS FCCLA officers volunteered at Horizons soup kitchen in Quincy today, by providing food prep for today's lunch. Followed by their annual summer planning meeting at Mimi's in Hannibal to plan out the year's activities.

2025-2026 Elementary School Supply List for South Shelby

It has come to our attention that a person outside of the South Shelby School District is soliciting sponsorships for tee-shirts from local businesses. We believe this is a SCAM. Please verify with our offices or sponsors before agreeing to any sponsorships. Thank you.

The South Shelby Booster Club is considering the expansion of the Dr. Lichty Walkway Wall/Wall of Champions at the east section of the football stadium. The wall was built in 2013 to honor Dr. Charles Lichty, MD for his many years of dedication to South Shelby. A portion of the wall consists of granite panels displaying the names of individual, family, and business supporters. There are very few blank panels remaining for purchase, so the Booster Club is considering the expansion of the wall to allow for more South Shelby alumni and fans the opportunity to show their Cardinal Pride for generations to come. Supporters can purchase panels of different sizes to display their personal message. These contributions are tax deductible as the South Shelby Booster Club is a 501(c)(3) organization. We invite parents, community members, alumni, and businesses to participate in this two-question survey.
